It was confirmed that the World Cosplay Summit 2017 champions Team China composed of Xue Yan Xue and Tian Tian are part of the panel of judges for this year’s World Cosplay Summit 2018.
This prestigious cosplay competition participated by teams from different parts of the globe will be held at Nagoya, Japan on August 5, 2018. You can watch the competition LIVE through the video streaming service, Nico Nico Douga.
Other guest judges confirmed are Chief Judge Toru Furuya, singer Ichirou Mizuki, Daisuke Tsuda (artist director of Achi Trienale 2018), and Tatsumi Inui (Cure WorldCosplay Director).
Team China wowed the audience last year with their heart-pumping cosplay skit from the series Blood: The Last Vampire as they both cosplayed Saya and a chiropteran monster.
The Lily Cat along with Jay Agonoy of keepsakes. were able to cover the Grand Finals of the World Cosplay Summit – Philippine Qualifiers which was held during the Nippon Industrial and Cultural Exchange at Davao City. Sergio and Kai of Team SAUI (Now called Team SeKai) won the preliminary grand finals and is the Philippines’ official representatives for the WCS.
